Positive: A wonderful place to stay! The people are so hospitable and helpful. The food is amazing! They even arranged a taxi for us from Colombo Airport. They also took care of everything for the safari tour, including the driver and a delicious breakfast and lunch. It was a truly special experience in such a unique place! The cottage is very cozy, clean, and fully equipped. Highly recommended for everyone!! We also found Udawalawe National Park to be a truly amazing experience, seeing so many elephants in such beautiful natural surroundings!

Positive: Wild Lake Side is an absolutely beautiful place to stay if you're visiting Udawalawe. It is so peaceful and the villas are lovely and nicer than the photos. They had air con so we could stay nice and cool, and a lovely balcony to sit and spot wildlife from. The family who run it were so helpful with organising our activities (safari, going to the elephant orphanage) and all our travel etc. The dinner was also great.

Negative: All is great! Udawalle the place is not that intresting So take a safari tour from 5.30 Till 9.30 am and then in the afternoon to South/ the beach

Positive: Really lovely experience from start to finish. The owners are very lovely, their food is delicious and the rooms are clean, comfortable and nice to sit and enjoy for the evening. We did the 1/2 day safari with them the next morning and couldn’t recommend them more for the full experience.

Negative: Nothing about the property but remember cash as it’s a long way to the ATM

Positive: Everything! The hospitality here was phenomenal. The setting, the food, the accommodation was all exceptional! We felt for the low price we got a very high standard of accommodation and service. We booked safari with them and the whole experience was unbelievable. Upon returning to the accommodation on a very hot day we were created with ice cold king coconuts for our refreshment free of charge. Food choices were good, especially for vegetarians as I was a little worried. The quality of the food was excellent.

Negative: Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Summary: Exceptional service! Will stay again!

Positive: The wooden cabins are deep in nature and , you will sleep cradled by the sounds of the forest around you. The food was so tasty and all the activities well organized. The guide that drew us into the National Park has been very kind and helpful in showing us a lot of animals hidden into the trees and bushes. Such a wonderful experience, definitively recommended.
